African Marigold is an annual plant that grows 20 to 25 tall. As its name suggests, this variety has charming orange double flowers with a high decorative potential. Its flowering period starts in the summer and lasts up to the autumn; it spans from June to October. French Marigoldd is predominantly grown in borders, flower beds and planters. It is a highly decorative plant which is also suitable for balcony planters. Growing: sow the seeds from March to April under cover or in May in a seedbed. Plant out into a permanent position in 20x30cm spacings in late May. Plant out with a cube of soil. Any type of garden soil works well with this variety. The plants prefer sunny or semi-shaded positions. 5 to 8 grams of seeds produce around one thousand plants. Each packet contains one gram of seeds.
