Usage and Benefits
Plant Onion Karmen seeds indoors in late winter or early spring in seed trays with well drained soil. Transplant seedlings outdoors after the last frost spacing them four to six inches apart in rows twelve to eighteen inches apart in full sun and well drained soil. Onions mature in about ninety to one hundred twenty days. Harvest bulbs when tops begin to fall over and dry. Cure onions in a warm dry place before storage. Store harvested onions in a cool dry place to keep them fresh through early spring. Ideal for fresh eating cooking and long term storage.
