Cucumber Paris Pickle is an exceptionally early variety that yields rich crops of short cylindrical fruit covered with green peel and sparsely speckled with warts. It does not overgrow and is perfect for pickling. Harvest the three to five centimeter long fruit for gherkins.

Usage and Benefits

Plant Cucumber Paris Pickle seeds outdoors after the last frost in full sun and well drained soil. Sow seeds one inch deep spacing plants twelve to eighteen inches apart with rows three feet apart. Keep soil moist during germination and water regularly as plants grow. Cucumbers mature in fifty to seventy days producing firm crisp fruits ideal for pickling. Harvest fruits when they reach three to five centimeters long for best flavor and texture. Ideal for home gardens and preserving. Store harvested cucumbers in cool conditions before pickling.
