ALPINE STRAWBERRY A large-fruit, very productive, and frost-resistant variety. Vigorous, compact plants grow up to 30 cm tall. Produces large, vivdly red, aromatic, and tasty berries. Can be eaten fresh and made into preserves. 1 - Sow in a pot under cover, on the surface in rich, moist potting soil, indoors (at 22°C minimum), without pressing the seeds. Pack, then water, making sure that the soil remains slightly damp during emergence (quite a long time). Place in the light. 2 - When the seedlings have 3 or 4 leaves, transplant them into pots of potting soil, in a cooler place. 3 - Plant in May: make mounds 20 cm high and approximately 80 cm wide, and plant each plant at least 30 cm apart in the row, and 40 cm between each row, in sunny exposure. 4 - Mulch the feet, and water regularly, especially during hot periods (preferably in the morning) FRAISIER DES BOIS Une variété à gros fruits, tres productive et résistante au gel. Plant Growth and Care
